About us

About this website

Introduction

This site was built to promote and showcase the Treherbert and surrounding area of the upper Rhondda (fawr) valley.  The area is surrounded by fantasic views, green hills, waterfalls, and walks. It's the community spirit that brings the residents of the area together with a wealth of community support groups and organisations. However, all this is easily missed as you pass through onward to the other valley towns or even the welsh capital.  We hope this website inspires you to take a second look, stop for cuppa, take in what's to offer and maybe stay a little longer.

Who runs this website?

This website is run by Paul Creedy with the help of community volunteers.  Paul was born and raised in Treherbert, before becoming an ex-pat and moving just a couple of miles south to Treorchy with his family. In his spare time works on his allotment, genealogy, and loves to build websites for local businesses. This website has received no funding and relies on the goodwill of the local residents for their support in maintaining this website.

The website is built and hosted by https://business-webdesign.co/ a small business run by Paul.
